PRETTY ENOUGH FOR A PRINCESS

Before

Every room starts somewhere. This bedroom was used as a storage room at one time.

While working with this small bedroom that had two large windows, the goal was to make the bedroom feel as bright and airy as possible during the day and as dark and calming as possible at night. The favourite colour was pink of course and the bed was already purchased for the previous home. I decided to use a light pink and white stripe on the top half of the wall to give the illusion of a slightly higher ceiling. The added trim work and white paint on the bottom half of the walls make the room appear larger then it actually is. A ceiling fan was used as well as black out blinds to help control the heat at night.
